These skills include analytical thinking problem-solving sales techniques coaching and professional written and verbal communication.As a Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Intern you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark discounts on food & shopping and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):Providing information concerning the Hershey destination including resort availability rates package plans events promotions and attractions*Think analytically to seek alternatives and resolve guest opportunities and requests*Build rapport and gain trust over the phone to enhance the guest experience*Develop sales techniques with the objective of revenue maximization*Complete daily reports and assist in the quality assurance review process to ensure agents are providing a high level of guest service*Develop technical skills with Agilysys Revinate and Google Workspace Gmail and other reservation systems*Attend regular professional development series sessions throughout the summer*Networking with members of the sales and groups teams through shadowing experiences and meetings*Opportunity to assist in development of training materialsDevelop incentive programs for agentsAssist in creating team engagement activitiesPerform duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age or olderMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust be enrolled in an undergraduate education or a Spring 2026 college graduateKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Strong written and oral communication skills in EnglishDetail-oriented with organization and planning skillsMust pass typing test to demonstrate ability to serve guests quickly and accurately (minimum 32 words per minute)Self-motivated with personal drive for successMust display professionalism and a positive demeanorDesire and willingness to learn and growJob Demands:Must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours per week through duration of internshipMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends evenings and holidays based on business needsInterns will be required to work within a hybrid model of in-office and at-home timeWhen working from home please note:Work must be completed within the state of PennsylvaniaEmployees must have a quiet place to conduct work free from distractions and background noiseHershey Entertainment & Resorts will provide the necessary computer monitors and equipment however the agent is responsible for providing high speed/broadband internetHousing is available with this internship through our housing partner at Campus Heights Penn State Harrisburg for the cost of a payroll deduction of $160 per week.Interns will be required to report to the office on average one day per week for the duration of their internship.Nothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Hershey Entertainment and Resorts is an Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
