One CaliforniaJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Resident Assistant is responsible for all assigned duties related to the care well-being and safety of the residents. Responds to residents needs and provides residents with assistance in daily activities. Assists in orienting and training staff members.The person in this position is expected to know and support the mission and values of Dominican Oaks and to apply the Dominican Oaks philosophy while performing daily job tasks.Assists residents with transfers and escorts residents.Assists residents with bathing dressing grooming and monitoring resident hygiene.Completes light housekeeping tasks for residents as needed.Delivers and picks up resident meal trays as needed.Monitors general health conditions of residents and reports changes or problems to supervisor.Prepares paperwork for medical appointmentsJob RequirementsOne (1) year experience as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility in the past five (5) yearsBasic Life Support - CPRFirst Aid - FACPreferredSix months experience caring for senior populationCertified Nursing Assistant: CA upon hire Key Skills Facilities Management,Christmas Temporary,Account Development,Accident Investigation,Control Engineering,ASP Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
