Our program is recovery-oriented gender-responsive and trauma-informed. The overall goal of treatment is to help women find real hope for recovery. Milestone offers individual and group counseling case management and aftercare planning services. This program also provides treatment for co-occurring disorders with substance abuse as their primary diagnosis. Treatment is individualized and targeted around the needs essential to moving forward toward employment housing and family stability. Milestone is part of CHRs Center of Excellence for Women/Women and Children at our Putnam campus. Length of day is less than 30 days and are then referred out to a step-down program to further address their co-occurring disorders.ABOUT THE POSITION: Residential AideDuties & ResponsibilitiesMaintains physical environment and program standards to CHR DMHAS JCAHO and any other licensing standardMonitors medications of all residents in accordance with the Adult residential medication policy and procedure.Effectively utilizes appropriate communication methods/tools to transfer information to other staff regarding the days eventsTeaches and assists all residents in areas of rehab including: nutrition and healthy living meal preparation hygiene laundry banking and budgeting and basic home care skills.Assists/Manages administrative functions and tasks at the direction of the supervisorPrepares and facilitates educational and skill building groups and one to one interventions as directed by the treatment plan.Collaborates and coordinate care with providers and families as needed.Assists residents in addressing medical and psychiatric needs.Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.Participates in staff meetings supervision trainings and other meetings as assigned.Additional duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience: Experience in Human Services with responsible work history.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid drivers license required with good driving record. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives.
