Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Residential Low Voltage AV Installer to join our field team supporting projects across San Diego County. This is a contract to hire role with long term growth potential for someone who takes pride in clean installs, reliable workmanship, and excellent customer interaction.

Role Overview

As a Low Voltage AV Installer, you'll handle installation, service, and troubleshooting of residential audio visual and smart home systems. You'll work independently or with a small crew, traveling to job sites throughout San Diego.

Key Responsibilities

• AV system installation - TVs, projectors, distributed audio, home theaters
• Low voltage wiring - Cat6, speaker wire, coax, control wiring
• Rack building, equipment mounting, cable management
• Smart home integration - Wi Fi systems, control systems, connected devices
• Pre wire, retrofit, and finish trim work in residential environments
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform service calls
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-3+ years of residential low voltage or AV installation experience
• Strong knowledge of cabling standards and best practices
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and construction plans
• Comfortable using hand/power tools, ladders, and working in attics/crawl spaces
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem solving and customer service mindset
