This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a company committed to quality and professionalism.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInterpret blueprints drawings and project specificationsMeasure cut and assemble materials accurately for framing finish work and other carpentry tasksSafely excavate and prepare footings up to 4 deepTrack project time material purchases and tasks completedOrder and receive materials; ensure proper organization onsiteCollaborate with Site Supervisor to maintain project timelines Ensure quality control and safety compliance throughout the projectDelegate appropriate tasks to Carpenters Assistants/Laborers while providing guidanceOccasional transport of materials and debris as neededAssist in maintaining clean orderly hazard free jobsiteOperate hand tools power tools ladders and other equipment safelyAccurately record hours and submit in a timely fashionSupport client needs as directed by Site SupervisorReport on issues or concerns to Site SupervisorPerform other related duties as assignedPREPARATION KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESHigh school diploma of GED REQUIREDValid drivers licenseReliable transportation ability to transport toolsMin. 4 years of residential carpentry experience preferredMust supply personal basic and power toolsMust possess strong knowledge of lumber fasteners and general construction materials/toolsAbility to read blueprintsStrong math skills and comfort with measurements and calculationsFamiliarity with jobsite safety and OSHA standardsComfortable working independentlyAdherent to FSCs Code of ConductPay Rate$28-$38 per HourSign on Bonus- $2500Benefits401(k) with company matchHealth Dental Vision & Disability insurance Tool Reimbursement ProgramSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYSupervises and provides work directions to carpenters assistants and subcontractors on job site. Must be comfortable overseeing a job site as a representative of the general contractor.WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position requires lifting heavy objects walking and standing for extended periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The work will be performed on and off the jobsite which requires the ability to stand walk sit push pull reach carry lift grasp squat or stoop bend and twist the body while performing essential duties. The position requires using hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and arms climb stairs talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time. The work will be performed indoors and outdoors in all seasons including harsh weather conditions.
