Residential Electrician - Field Supervisor (Pflugerville)

Residential Electrician - Field Supervisor (Pflugerville) We are hiring Residential Electrician Field Supervisors for our Pflugerville location. Individual must be diligent, have excellent attendance, and work overtime as needed. Candidates must have previous residential electrical experience with custom home projects, proven leadership experience, and an electrical wireman or journeyman license. A company vehicle may be provided to travel to and from work for qualified and licensed technicians. Critical Tasks

• Ensure jobs at specific addresses are ready and maintain constant communication between builders and homeowners
• Complete buyer walks with custom homes as needed
• Ensure subcontractors are on time, do job completely, correctly, and follow company policy
• Create punch list to ensure job is done correctly, ensure punch list is completed
• Schedule inspections per jurisdiction of city
• Approve subcontractor payroll
• Ensure employees report to their respective field supervisor everyday
• Clearly communicate work orders to techs
• Ensure techs assignments are completed correctly
• Determine fair and even workloads among field workers
• Ensure builders stay on schedule, on task, and be prepared to adjust the schedule if necessary
• Ensure company policies are being enforced (hard hats, no stopping at stores, long lunches, etc.)

Primary tasks involve:

• Ensure jobs are completed per plan, code, and building specs
• Ensure placement of fixtures are in right space and correct wiring is used
• Analyze plan and compare it to rough to ensure installments in the room match the plan
  • Ensure installments fit the code
• Utilize rough-in & trim walk sheet and clearly communicate to field employees which corrections need to be made
  • What builder items are incomplete
  • What parts are missing
  • What fixtures are missing
• Ensure work orders from techs have no discrepancies. Afterwards, turn work order into area manager

Candidates must possess the following skills:

• Current Electrical License
• Valid Driver's License
• Leadership ability
• Ability to perform and adhere to all safety training, drug screening and background checks
• A strong knowledge and understanding of utility provider specs and requirements
• Experience with rack services and custom home installations
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of residential electrical codes
• Understanding of residential wiring practices
• The ability to accurately diagnose and correct electrical installation errors
• The ability to install various electrical devices and light fixtures
• Must be able to work with others in a team environment

Compensation for this position is dependent upon experience and employee has an option to enroll in benefits including medical insurance, dental, vision, and a 401k plan with an employer matching contribution.
