Position Overview
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, maintain, repair, and service residential heating and cooling systems while providing exceptional customer service. You will work independently and collaboratively with team members to ensure every customer receives professional, high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system cleanings
- Service and repair all major HVAC equipment brands
- Oversee Installs, start up, and commission of new HVAC equipment
- Assist with equipment replacements, system upgrades, and ductwork installations
- Work with heat pumps, communicating systems, and two-stage equipment
- Maintain accurate service records using ServiceTitan (preferred)
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a professional appearance
- Demonstrate quality workmanship and attention to detail on every job
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment changeouts
- Knowledge of heat pumps, communicating systems, and modern residential HVAC technology
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
- Commercial HVAC experience is a plus but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and travel occasionally
