DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Residential Services Aide, you will assist staff in the development, delivery, and monitoring of treatment and related services provided at Selinsgrove Center. You will address self-care, socialization, and health maintenance needs to support each resident's Individual Habilitation Plan/Individual Support Plan (IHP/ISP). You will also record information, monitor individuals, and assist with revising IHP/ISPs as necessary. This role requires exceptional care skills to observe changes in individual physical status and effective communication to inform the nursing team of additional resident service needs. In addition, you will escort individuals to various activities, participate in housekeeping functions, and assist with purchasing appropriate personal items that maximize therapeutic environments.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours are 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM), with a 30-minute lunch. You will have rotating break days and every 3rd weekend off. Overtime and travel as neededFree parkingTelework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will being employment at the starting annual salary of $42,521.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orSix months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
