Location: Murfreesboro Tennessee
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
The Resource Parent Support I (RPS I or RPS NE), under the supervision of the RPS Team Leader or designee, works closely with the Foster Care Team to identify , license, recruit, and retain foster families within the assigned region. This role ensures foster home compliance with state, licensing, and contractual requirements while supporting recruitment, training, and retention efforts. The position requires regular regional and statewide travel and active participation in team meetings, retreats, and treatment team collaboration.
Responsibilities
Attend supervision at least twice monthly
Attend weekly regional RPS team meetings
Become certified to train all foster parent pre-service and post-approval courses
Provide pre-service and ongoing foster parent training activities
Maintain foster home compliance and required documentation including licensure, home studies, background checks, monthly check-ins, quarterly compliance checks, and re-assessments
Audit and maintain foster parent charts and records
Participate in recruitment and marketing activities
Recruit and license new foster homes to meet quarterly standards
Stay current on DCS and contract provider requirements
Complete annual training requirements
Participate in monthly RPS calls
Utilize electronic platforms and agency systems
Attend weekly treatment team meetings
Attend 2-3 RPS retreats annually throughout the state
Support client placement efforts and respite care coordination
Travel approximately 25-50% of the time within the region and statewide as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Licensed driver with automobile insurance in good standing
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to learn and utilize Clarvida electronic systems
Ability to work flexible hours consistent with program needs
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Sensitivity to diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds
Strong analytical, reasoning, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to interpret complex documents and present information effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with children or adolescents in a therapeutic treatment environment
Experience complying with state and/or contractual requirements
