You are responsible for collaboratively developing implementing and assessing patient care plans.Every day you will directly engage in patient care utilizing critical thinking to assess plan coordinate and delegate tasks to the patient care team. You will continuously educate patients families and staff implementing interventions for optimal outcomes and managing issues in a physicians absence.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate accountability for care quality with authority to direct care and utilize resources efficiently including comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.Conducts care assessments and interprets assessment data to determine care needs and constraints in meeting these needs.Successfully completes system-based and hospital specific competencies.Maintains accurate documentation of observations treatments teaching medications care given patient response and integrates into plan of care.In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating planning directing and administering care to the patient.
