Job Summary: The Adult Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy to patients in a critical care and trauma setting. The role involves administering various respiratory therapies including NIV high flow nebulizers CPT nitric oxide and Flolan nebulizer. The therapist will work within an adult ICU PICU and NICU environment utilizing Draeger and Servo-I ventilators as well as 3100A 3100B and Jet ventilators in the NICU. Location:Anchorage Alaska United States Responsibilities: - Administer respiratory therapies including NIV high flow nebulizers CPT nitric oxide and Flolan nebulizer. - Manage patients on Draeger ventilators for adults and Servo-I ventilators for PICU and NICU. - Operate 3100A and 3100B ventilators along with Jet ventilators in NICU. - Provide respiratory support for adult and pediatric trauma patients. - Perform floor therapy as needed. - Monitor and assess patient response to respiratory treatments. - Document patient care and treatments accurately. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Required Skills & Certifications: - BLS certification - CRT certification - NRBC certification - Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care and trauma settings Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Experience with open heart surgery patients Special Considerations: - Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. - Weekend work is required. - Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer.
