Restaurant Manager at Anis Cafe and Bistro

Anis Café and Bistro is a casual, upscale French bistro in Buckhead.  We are looking for an experienced full-time manager.  Candidates must be quick and willing to be hands-on with the floor staff to keep the restaurant running smoothly.  Wine knowledge is helpful.  (Ability to speak French is a bonus, but not a requirement.)  Schedule is somewhat flexible, but candidates must be available weekends (including Sundays), lunches, and holidays.  Job responsibilities include:greeting and assisting customers as the maître d’ (Open Table experience preferred)taking reservationsmonitoring food presentation and ensuring service standards are methandling customer inquiries and complaintsrecruiting, training and supervising staffpromoting and marketing the business, creating events to bring in new customersmaking improvements to the business and the development of the restaurantordering supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning productsensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines Key skills we are looking for:Excellent customer service skillsStrong teamwork and communication skills; ability to effectively manage other peopleStrong leadership and motivational skills; positive attitudeProblem-solving skillsA willingness to go above and beyond, rather than only doing the bare minimum Please respond ONLY by email and include a resume and qualifications.  No phone calls please.  We will contact you to schedule an interview.  customer service, teamwork, communication, leadership, motivational skills, problem-solving skills, positive attitude compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 salary (based on experience); pay structure negotiable; additional bonuses and benefits available
