Retail Sales Specialist - Home Theater at Best Buy

Job Description

As a Retail Sales Specialist in our home theater department, you'll engage with customers to learn their needs, provide excellent service, perform product demos and make helpful recommendations. We'll provide the training you need to become an expert on TVs and related products, including specifications, features and benefits.

What you'll do
  • Engage with customers to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
  • Stay informed about the latest home theater technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development
  • Handle customer inquiries and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively
  • Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers
  • Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department
Basic qualifications
  • 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields
Preferred qualifications
  • 1 year of experience selling in premium products, luxury brands and/or custom design environments
  • 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM)
