We are a locally owned franchise of one of the fastest growing upscale thrift store brands in the country. We buy and sell new and used clothing everyday! Our Assistant Manager needs an upbeat attitude and must have a strong focus on customer service. Responsibilities:Work in the areas of Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and HRSupport the Store Manager in all areasEnsure every customer has a positive shopping experienceTrain, supervise and mentor a team of AssociatesManage the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom/backstock, and inventoryEnsure store stays clean and organizedReview reports daily to track inventory and ensure we have the maximum amount of product on the sales floorRequirements:Two years of retail leadership experience as a Keyholder or Assistant ManagerExcellent interpersonal, strong communication, and follow through skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a team of 10-15 employeesWork with and embrace a very diverse group of employees and customersReliable transportationMust be available some evenings, weekends, & holidaysMust be familiar with both men and women's (young adult) fashion trendsReferencesUptown Cheapskate offers:A fun retail environmentCompetitive payAWESOME discountsBonus opportunitiesPaid Time OffWe close at 8PM so NO LATE NIGHTS!If you feel you would be a great fit for our growing company please attach your resume & availability.
