POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Store Managers are responsible for driving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrink results. Developing and leading a great team while increasing sales and profits of your assigned area will be the most important part of your job. Your hands-on leadership and management expertise will allow our organization to grow. This job is composed of a variety of tasks that are covered by general operating procedures but will also require extensive individual judgment to ensure successful operation of the store.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction
  2. Develop and implement payroll plans and monitor daily payroll to ensure the plan is met
  3. Display strong merchandise throughout the store and execute plan-o-grams
  4. Ensure merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stocked according to inventory levels appropriate for the store
  5. Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the store
  6. Supervise, train, and develop subordinate managers and hourly store personnel in all areas and functions required to run the store effectively
  7. Ensure all employees provide outstanding customer service to satisfy our customer's needs
  8. Ensure all expenses are maintained within the planned budget
  9. Be familiar with and enforce all company policies and procedures
  10. Oversee the implementation of special promotions and advertising events
  11. Maintain strong communication between store and all support departments
  12. Responsible for all aspects of the P&L including sales, gross margin, payroll, and shrink
  13. Ensure the store is in compliance with OSHA requirements and all safety procedures
  14. Provide exemplary customer service
  15. Oversee store programs through effective delegation and management of work, employees, time, and resources
  16. Maintain working knowledge of products and services
  17. May operate forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving merchandise and materials
  18. Safety awareness of anything in store that may be hazard to employees or customers
  19. Promptly handle any customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
  20. Additional duties, as assigned


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 3 - 5 years of retail management experience
  2. Flexibility to work any open store hours
  3. Proven skills in business analysis, with the ability to execute company standards successfully
  4. Experience producing results, managing and developing employees, and succeeding in a retail environment
  5. Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
  6. Strong communication and leadership skills
  7. Highly motivated leader capable of motivating others to achieve company goals
  8. Excellent Customer Service skills
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication
  10. Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
  11. Basic computer skills
  12. Highly organized and detail-oriented
  13. Ability to:
    • Multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
    • Effectively communicate with customers and employees, in-person and over the phone
    • Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
    • Prioritize, accurately multi-task, adhere to deadlines, and learn in a fast-paced environment.
