The OpportunityYou will create an inspiring shopping experience in which our guests feel empowered to customize their space. As the Store Manager you will promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter and ensure your stellar team exemplifies brand values standards and experiences. If this sounds like you we need to meet you!Your Impact Make plans & improve EBITDA by creating the most fantastic place to work and shop by delivering an exceptional Guest experience.Develop a strategy to increase sales and build guest loyalty through store programs including Design Services Ballard Designs Private Label Credit Card community outreach and additional corporate and regional events throughout the yearRecruit Train and Develop Team Members in all open positionsForecast and adjust monthly payroll to maximize productivity achieve sales/payroll goals and complete workload.What You Bring 5years of management experience in specialty retail or multi-unit retail business environments.Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.Proficiency in using Microsoft Word Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) Outlook Kronos and POS systems.Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 50 lbs.Remote work is not permitted in NYC currently.LI-#OnsiteOur Total Rewards package includes benefits youll love such as competitive compensation paid time off an employee assistance program parental leave paid volunteer hours and amazing company discounts!
