Responsibilities & QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIESOversee the administration configuration and maintenance of Windows Linux VMs and supporting software in an air-gapped environment.Works with peers to support windows and Linux environmentsSetup and maintain Windows Server environments to include AD Group PolicyHarden systems against vulnerabilities and threats using automated tools in accordance with DISA STIGs.Pro-actively recommend and implement performance and reliability improvements to systems and independently develop solutions to problems.Train junior systems administrators in best practices and day-to-day operations.Assist in the documentation of knowledge base articles standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.Skills:Experience with Windows Server.Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.Exposure to basic DevOps and software development workflows.Familiarity with enterprise management of IT Systems.Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.Attention to detail.Strong oral and written communication skills.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSActive Top Secret ClearanceActive IAT level II Certification3 years of Systems Administrator ExperienceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred: Bachelors degree (BS) in Computer Science Information Technology Information Management Systems or a related field from an accredited college or university.Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).OverviewWe are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team.TekSynap is a fast-growing high-tech company that understands both the pace of technology today and the need to have a comprehensive well planned information management environment.
