This role ensures safe, efficient, and consistent production of high-quality Michelin retreads while maintaining strict compliance with MRT standards, quality requirements, and operational best practices. The Plant Manager drives performance through strong leadership, disciplined processes, and continuous improvement./pp/ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pulliEnsure full compliance with all Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) standards, audits, and certifications./liliOversee all phases of the MRT process including casing inspection, repair, buffing, building, curing, finishing, and final inspection./liliMaintain Michelin-required documentation, process controls and quality records./liliPrepare for and lead Michelin audits, address findings promptly and effectively./liliEnsure proper handling, tracking and grading of customer and company-owned casings./liliPlan, schedule and manage daily production to meet customer delivery and volume targets./liliMonitor plant KPIs including throughput, yield, scrap rates, downtime and labor efficiency./liliEnsure equipment reliability through preventative maintenance and timely repairs./liliCoordinate workflow to maximize plant efficiency and minimize bottlenecks./liliEnforce OSHOA, environmental and Michelin safety standards./liliPromote a string safety culture through training, audits and daily accountability./liliInvestigate incidents and implement corrective actions./liliLead, coach, and develop supervisors and production employees./liliManage staffing levels, training, scheduling and labor productivity./liliConduct performance evaluations and corrective actions as necessary./liliBuild a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement./liliManager tread rubber, envelopes, cements, casings and other retread materials./liliControl costs related to labor, materials, utilities, maintenance, and scrap./liliEnsure proper casing inventory accuracy and traceability./liliDrive lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives./liliAnalyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement./liliImplement best practices aligned with Michelin recommendations./liliCommunicate effectively with sales, center managers and senior leadership./liliProvide regular reports on production, quality, safety and financial performance./liliAddress customer concerns related to retread quality or delivery./li/ulp/ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulli10+ years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience /lili5+ years of supervisory or plant management experience./liliDemonstrated ability to lead teams and manage plant operations./liliStrong working knowledge of LEAN methodologies and experience implementing (Preferred)./liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office and production management systems./li/ulpstrong/strong/ppstrongCompensation:/strong/pulliBase Salary ranges from $100,000 - $125,000 per year/liliRole qualifies for incentive bonus dependent on performance of plant, including but not limited to productivity and overhead costs/li/ulpstrongBenefits:/strong/pulliComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance./liliSafe Harbor Retirement savings plan with company match./liliPaid time off and holidays./liliOngoing training and professional development opportunities./liliOpportunity to work with a leading company in the commercial tire industry./li/ulp/ppReady to lead the way?
