Our CompanyAmeritaOverviewThe Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for a broad range of duties which support the day to day operations of the RCM ancillary support department. The employee will work closely with the RCM Ancillary Services management team to identify and implement time and cost saving measures. The employee will observe company policies and all applicable laws and regulations as they relate to the job requirements. The employee must have the ability to prioritize problem solve and multitask. Above all qualified candidates should possess exceptional internal and external customer service skills and actively promote Ameritas company culture.Schedule:Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm MST Competitive Pay Health Dental Vision & Life Insurance Company-Paid Short & Long-Term Disability Flexible Schedules & Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discount Program & DailyPay 401k Pet InsuranceResponsibilitiesEnsures daily accomplishments by working towards individual and company goals for cash collections credit balances medical records correspondence appeals/disputes accounts receivable over 90 days and other departmental goalsUnderstands and adheres to all applicable state/federal regulations company policies insurance contracts in terms of medical policies payments patient financial responsibility credit balances and refundsCoordinates the processing of refund checks with Ameritas and PharMericas accounts payable departments to include voided reissue and escheatment checksPrepares patient refund packetsReviews credit balance adjustments submits overpayment notification letters and contacts payers following Ameritas payer notification processContacts payers to validate receipt of submitted documentation and documents outcomes in CPRAssists with the processing of medical records requests. Compiles medical documents and secures missing information as neededSubmits medical records giving priority to electronic solutionsMaintains CPR Document & Fax Management systems to include faxing scanning and attaching documentsReceives stamps compiles and distributes incoming mailPrepares outgoing mail to ensure correct postage and shipping entity is utilizedResponsible for tracking postage meter use and loading postage onto postal machineTransports USPS & Fed Ex shipments to local facilitiesEnsures supplies are stocked for RCM employee use to include: cabinets Xerox machines HP printers kitchen and bathroom areasCompletes weekly inventory of RCM supplies and submits orders to the appropriate vendorsReceives and unpacks incoming ordersEnsures receipt of all items and/or addresses missing items or returns with vendorsRetains packing slips for retention purposesServes as primary back up for the RCM Administrative Services Specialist in times of absenceQualificationsHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college a plus.A minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in revenue cycle management with a working knowledge of Managed Care Commercial Government Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR and Waystar a plusWorking knowledge and application of metric measurements basic accounting practices ICD 9/10 CPT HCPS coding and medical terminologySolid Microsoft Office skills with the ability to type 40 WPMStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to independently obtain and interpret informationStrong attention to detail and ability to be flexible and adapt to work flow volumesKnowledge of federal and state regulations as it pertains to revenue cycle management a plusFlexible schedule with the ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as neededAbout our Line of BusinessAmerita an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
