Grow. with KBR!KBRs National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security this position your work will have a profound impact on the countrys most critical role protecting our national security.Why Join UsInnovative Projects: KBRs work is at the forefront of engineering logistics operations science program management mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.Collaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.Key Responsibilities:Advising New Systems Acquisitions: Assisting the government in the acquisition of new capabilities and upgrades.Delivering New Capabilities: Regular communications with users to understand new requirements working with development contractors to understand requirements and develop plans to deliver new capabilities working with Operations to coordinate testing and the final delivery of new capabilities to fulfill user requirements.Systems Architectures: Various systems architectures and eventually act as subject matter experts in advising the government clients on acquisition related decisions.RF Testing: Witnessing equipment installations and testingProposal Review and Development: Assist the government in contract related work including the development of Statements of Work proposal review and development contractor performance assessments.Network Architecture: Focus on understanding the detailed network architectures that make up the systems and work with developers and operations to troubleshoot network issues.Work Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: Minimal travel up to 15% within the United States and OCONUSWorking Hours: StandardQualifications:Required:Clearance: TS/SCI with a PolygraphEducation: Bachelors in Engineering Computer Science or related technical degreeExperience: Minimum 5 years of related RF experienceRequirements Documentation: Requirements documentation is another key responsibility to ensure the baseline is maintained.Desired:Satellite Systems Experience: 3 years of experience with Commercial/Government acquisition of satellite/ground segment hardware/software or satellite based special communications field set hardware/software.Education: Masters in Engineer Computer Science or related technical degreeIT Networks: Good understanding of standard IT networks performance topologies etc.Radio Frequency: Prior experience with RF based satellite communications.Digital Signals: Prior experience with digital signal processing.Ready to Make a DifferenceIf youre excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
