Population Served:Adults 18+Not opposed to seeing pediatric, but no providers' fellowship trained in Ped s (Ped s patients are sent to OU Children s in OKC)Practice Support:Administrative Staff: Clinic Director & Office SupervisorAdvanced Practice Providers: 2, sees follow-up patients (does not see new patients), does injectionsMedical Assistant: 1 per providerPatient Service Representatives: 6 total for practiceClinic Details:5 experienced physicians in group, along with 2 APRN and 1 PALocation: Springer Building, 2 nd FloorNumber of exam rooms: 2 rooms per provider, each provider has own office spaceHours: 8am-5pmEquipment: Ultrasound and microscopeInfusions: Done at SFH Yale campus or Saint Francis Cancer Treatment Center. (Everything is offered at Yale North entrance except Rituxan which is only offered at Cancer Center). All ordered are done through Epic.Hospital Privileges:Consults average 1-2 per week but can also go weeks without anySchedule:Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pmAll providers work 4.5 daysReferral Pattern:Internal referral network and department that is dedicated to building new physicians' panels Booking out 12 months for new patients and follow ups Highlights:All providers are referring to Pain Management for pain management needs, will manage some of their ownAll providers have the option to use Dragon voice recognition with Epic.Biopsies (Muscle biopsies are primarily done by Dr. John King-General Surgery. Kidney biopsies are sent to lab in Arkansas from the SFH Pathology department.)Sonosite ultrasound is available in office.Pediatric Rheumatology: None offered in the Tulsa area. The majority of pediatrics is referred to Andrea Sestak, M.D. in OKC. She is currently in private practice previously with University of Oklahoma. The Warren Clinic providers will see pediatric patients to provide consults for ages 11 years and older).Expected Volume:15-20 patients a dayCall:Hospital: 1 in every 6 weekends Hospitalists handle admits, so providers don t have emergent cases that require them to go in and handle throughout nightClinic: Weekday/weeknight is split between 4 providersIf you cover weekend call then you have less call during the week Teaching Opportunity:Residency program through OSU.
