Benefits We Offer:401 (k)Group Health & Dental PlanShort -& Long-Term Disability InsuranceLife & Voluntary Life InsuranceHoliday & Vacation PayEmployee Assistance ProgramEssential Duties and Responsibilities:This positionis responsible forthe following: Other duties may be assigned.Select gear such as cables pulleys and winches according to load weights and sizesandfacilities.Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving using hand and power tools.Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams ceilings and gin pole booms using bolts and clamps.Install ground rigging for yarding lines attaching chokers to logs and to the lines.Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensuresafetyof workers and materials.Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces by manipulate rigging lines hoists and pulling gear to move or support materialsusingchain falls gin poles gallows frames and other equipment.Fabricate set up and repair rigging supporting structures hoists and pulling gear.Clean and dress machine surfaces andcomponentparts.Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.Performvisual inspections andtest riggingbefore useto ensure safety and reliability.Required Education & Experience:Industrial and/or marine rigging experience:1stClass: 3-5 years**2ndClass:1-3 yearsNCCCO or NCCER PreferredTrained/RiggerCertifiedPreferred**Working Conditions:Open-air conditions such as noisy hot cold etc.May work around fumes odors chemicals and dust.Traverse and negotiate gangways and scaffolding at varying heights.Enter and work in Operators cab and similar confined spaces.Some climbing (100 feet) and lifting (50 lbs.) involved.Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces.Must wearPPEwhen necessary.Necessary Equipment Operation:Flagging EquipmentSpecial Skills:Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints sketchesdrawingsand technical manuals.Perform basic mathematical functions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.High performance anda strongteam player.Commitment to company values and safetyprogram.* An Equal Opportunity Employer.
