Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRigger $1,500+ WEEKLYJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:The ideal candidate will have experience as a Rigger working in commercial, civil, or industrial construction environments, be familiar with basic power tools, and follow detailed instructions for the production of concrete products.Certification from a recognized rigging or crane operation program (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent) is preferredInspect, select, and set up rigging equipment such as cables, pulleys, winches, and shacklesSafely attach loads to rigging and ensure they are secure before liftingDirect crane operators or hoisting personnel in the movement of loadsCalculate load weights and determine appropriate rigging techniquesPerform routine maintenance and inspection of rigging equipmentEnsure compliance with all safety standards, procedures, and protocolsCollaborate with crane operators and other workers on siteIdentify potential hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate riskMaintain clear communication during lifting operationsUses flags to direct traffic while moving loads, etc.Experience working with cranes, hoists, and forkliftsGuide crane operators via hand signals and/or radios.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and lift plansShifts:Monday - Friday, some weekends may be required based on production7:00 am to 4:00 pmOvertime Opportunity!Duration:Temporary to PermanentHow to Apply:Apply & Receive offers NOW!
