It is our vision to guide and nurture students to become role models who will exhibit high levels of God-consciousness, professional excellence and civic leadership by serving society at large.We are looking to hire Preschool / Early Childhood (ECE) Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year at the RISE Academy Campus in San Jose, California.Job Expectations:Shared Vision: Supports a vision of excellence for all students, with an urgency to maximize every opportunity necessary to achieve ambitious student outcomesCulture of Excellence: Fosters a safe, culturally responsive and nurturing community where students love learning and are excited to attend school dailyInnovation: Develops and executes innovative strategies to ensure a world-class and well-rounded educationProfessional Growth: Committed to continuous growth, actively engages in professional development opportunities, and contributes to our professional learning communityCommunity Outreach: Demonstrates commitment to the community by communicating regularly with families and attending key school community eventsResponsibilities Include:Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching materialBalance your teaching between logical and social exercisesProvide basic care and caregiving activitiesUse a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the childs abilitiesEvaluate childrens performance to make sure they are on the right learning trackRemain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their childrenObserve and document childrens interactionsIdentify behavioral problems and determine the right course of actionCollaborate with other colleaguesAdhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sourcesRequirements and Skills:Educational background with 12 semester or 18 quarter early childhood education units or a bachelors degree in child developmentPrior teaching experience with young students is preferredExcellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methodsMethodical and creativePatience, flexibility, and love for childrenStrong communication and time management skillsCertificate in first aid and CPRCompensation:The compensation range is based on education, working experience, degrees, and certifications. In addition to salary, staff members may be eligible for tuition discounts for their children.
