Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:RK Auto is seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team at our Virginia Beach location. As a used car Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of pre-owned vehicles. This is a Full Time - base plus commission role in the Auto industry with the opportunity for growth and development.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $18 to $30 per hour, paid weekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic testing and repair on a variety of pre-owned vehicles- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements- Use electronic tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicle issues- Inspect vehicles for potential issues and provide recommendations for necessary repairs- Maintain a clean and organized work space- Keep accurate records of all services performed- Meet or exceed performance and productivity targets set by the management team- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs and service recommendations in a friendly and professional mannerRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technician in the auto industry- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks- Excellent communication and customer service skills- ASE certification is a plus- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testEEOC statement:RK Auto is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
