ADLINK is also proud to be associated with many major technology leaders and Fortune 500 companies.Hourly Range: $25.00 - $26.50This position is office-based.How will you make an impact:RMA technician is a part of repair and test engineering team and a major key of close loop correctiveaction process. Repair technician is responsible to debug (trouble shoot) repair rework and test ofproducts being returned from the field in house and engineerings build. Repair technician alsosupports all levels of the production process and incoming audit process.What will you do:Regular Tasks (High Priority)Perform all functions associated with the diagnostic and repair of product being returned from the field.Perform the preliminary analysis of return products to the component level.Report discrepancies and document the findings of return products on the Navision system.Perform operational test and fault isolation on production level products.Perform assembly rework and quality testing to the production of sub-assemblies of prototypeand production level products.Support the majority of debug and trouble shooting activities for production products that failedthe integration process failed ETT process failed incoming functional test process.Support Production/Operations to achieve the month-end and or quarter end shipping number byrepairing products hand soldering products building assemblies and or packing products.Event Driven Tasks (High Priority During Time of Event)Assist and train CMs personnel to debug trouble shoot the production built and bone pileproducts.Debug and repair of the prototype and/or the production products at CMs site.Repair/Rework the warranty products as customers site.Support Design Engineering to perform the HALT and EMI testing including debug and troubleshoot.Provides comprehensive input to Design Engineering and Test Engineering in support of theidentification of failure modes of new products either Design related or Test related issue.Support incoming inspection to inspect verify and re-screen products for workmanship issuesolder joint issue and BIOS/CMOS issue.Build development tester(s) per customers requirements.Supportive Tasks (Lower Priority as Needed)Support Operations to perform inventory audit on a bi-weekly basis.Support Operations to re-layout the production floor.How will you get hereEDUCATION:AA/AS Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training or work related experienceEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years of related experienceBenefits:Medical Dental and Vision Insurance.Life AD&D Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance.401k retirement planHSA Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSAVacation and Sick Leave.Paid holidays and floating holidays.Physical Demands and Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit; regularly use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls; talk and hear; and doing things such as analytical work or reports which requires focus while utilizing a computer.Must be able to operate general office equipment.Physical stamina to stand reach bend lift grasp and kneel.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.AAP/EEO Statement:Ampro ADLINK Technologydoes not discriminate in employment on the basis of race color religion sex (including pregnancy and gender identity) national origin political affiliation sexual orientation marital status disability genetic information age membership in an employee organization retaliation parental status military service or other non-merit factors.Additional information about the role:Please note this job description may not cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
