Job Title: RN Ambulatory (Surgical Ambulatory Care)Location: Syracuse NY 13210 Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Shift 8 hours/day Schedule: MondayFriday 40 hours per weekJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse to support a busy Surgical Ambulatory Care setting. This role involves working with a range of surgical specialties including burn colorectal thoracic general surgery and trauma. The ideal candidate is skilled in outpatient/same-day care and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal orientation.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive nursing assessments in an ambulatory/surgical settingProvide pre- and post-operative patient care and educationSupport specialty areas including burn colorectal thoracic trauma and general surgeryCollaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient careUtilize Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)Perform direct clinical care with minimal supervisionMaintain accurate documentation adhere to protocols and ensure patient safetyQualificationsActive Registered Nurse license (New York State)BLS certification (must be able to renew as needed)Minimum 1.5 years of recent (within last 2 years) acute care experienceExperience in ambulatory and surgical care requiredExperience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center highly preferredEPIC EMR experience preferredStrong communication assessment and interpersonal skillsMust not have:License suspension or investigationMalpractice claimsMust pass pre-employment health screening drug screen and background checkMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S.For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
