OverviewSummary:Our Clinical Education teamis currently hiring a Nursing Clinical Similuation Specialist to join their team.The Simulation Specialist serves as educator consultant researcher instructional and evaluation designer clinical practice expert and interprofessional collaborator supporting the clinical simulation needs of staff throughout the PHS enterprise. Supports the educational simulation components of the organizations clinical initiatives and practicesThe RN Clinical Simulation Specialist is responsible for designing implementing and evaluating clinical simulation experiences that support nursing education and professional development. Supports the educational simulation components of the organizations clinical initiatives and practicesQualificationsLicensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing required.Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing requiredMasters Degree either in progress or started within 2 years of hire and completed within 5 years. Focus of masters degree in Nursing Nursing Education Education Instructional Design Business Leadership Informatics Administration or equivalent degree requiredCertification from Society of Simulation in Healthcare within 2 years from hireResponsibilitiesDevelop and facilitate realistic simulation scenarios aligned with organizational goals accreditation standards and best practices.Operate and maintain simulation equipment including high-fidelity manikins task trainers and audiovisual systems.Ensure accurate setup and breakdown of simulation environments to replicate clinical settings.Collaborate with nursing leadership educators and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and integrate simulation into curricula.Provide pre-briefing and debriefing sessions to optimize learner engagement and reflection.Support competency-based assessments and remediation through simulation activities.BenefitsWere all about well-being starting with yours.
