RN Labor & Delivery (L&D)Location: Millersburg OH Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights 123 Weekly Gross: $2469Job SummaryThe Labor & Delivery RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients postpartum mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate is experienced confident in managing emergent obstetric situations and skilled in both maternal and neonatal assessment.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide continuous monitoring and assessment of laboring patients including maternal and fetal vital signs.Assist with vaginal deliveries: prepare room support patient and assist providers during delivery.Deliver care for postpartum mothers and newborns performing required screenings and assessments.Manage IV lines administer medications and support labor interventions such as epidurals and induction agents.Operate and interpret fetal monitoring equipment and respond to changes promptly.Assist during obstetric emergencies including C-sections postpartum hemorrhage and neonatal resuscitation.Perform newborn care: initial assessments medications thermoregulation and family education.Provide patient and family teaching regarding breastfeeding newborn care postpartum expectations and discharge planning.Document all assessments interventions and patient responses in the EMR accurately.Work collaboratively with providers midwives anesthesia pediatrics and the interdisciplinary care team.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.RN license: Ohio state license or compact license.CertificationsBLS (AHA)ACLS (AHA)NRPSTABLE PreferredFor more details reach at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
