Job Title: RN Med/Surg Tele Location: Pikeville, KY 41501 (Must reside 75+ miles from Pikeville, KY) Job Type: 13 weeks travel contract Shift details: Days & Nights both | 3/12hrs| 36 or 48hrs /week Job Summary: RN Med/Surg Tele will Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process, within established standards and practices for assigned patients. Duties: Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, documentation, education, and involvement of patients/families in care planning. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, advocate for patients, and address cultural, psychosocial, and age-specific needs. Supervise and support staff, serve as a preceptor, and assist with procedures, equipment operation, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Participate in performance improvement, maintain professional development, follow all policies, and perform additional tasks such as housekeeping or patient transport as needed. Skills & Education: Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg Tele unit - Required. Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Active RN License - Required BLS/ CPR Certification - Required ACLS - Required NIHSS - Required EKG - Required
