Nature and ScopePlumas District Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room / Perioperative team. The RN will play a key role in providing patient-centered care throughout all phases of surgerypre-operative intraoperative and post-operative.This position includes both circulating and scrub responsibilities assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers preparing and maintaining the sterile field supporting patient recovery and ensuring safe efficient surgical care.LocationWe are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road Quincy CA 95971.CompensationHourly Rate: $48.11 $68.59 (based on clinical pay scale)Sign-On Bonus: $7500Housing Stipend: Paid housing or $1500/month stipend for first 3 monthsJob Status / Shift InformationFull-time benefited positionMondayFriday 8-hour day shiftsOn-call requiredQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred)Active California RN LicenseCurrent CPR ACLS and PALS certificationsStrong knowledge of perioperative standards and sterile techniquePrefered Experience:1 year of operating room / surgical nursing experienceExperience in circulating and/or scrubbing rolesBackground in acute care or outpatient surgery centersKnowledge Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of the nursing process and perioperative protocolsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to recognize patient or equipment safety hazardsSelf-directed detail-oriented and adaptableCommitment to high-quality compassionate patient careProficient in charting and clinical software systemsBenefits / PerksPay & RecognitionBalanced LifeWell-BeingProfessional GrowthDependent CareChild CareAt PDH we believe investing in our team matters.
