DescriptionDescription:Work Schedule:Remote position. 60% FTE day/night position. You will work a mix of day/night shifts 8:00 am 8:00 pm and 8:00 pm 8:00 am. On call requirements. You will work a weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.Be part of something remarkableJoin the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Serve as an Organ Allocation and Triage Specialist and play a critical role in supporting organ donation and transplant activities. This position requires excellent clinical judgment strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate highly time-sensitive operations.We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:Facilitate acceptance or refusal of donor organs for transplant ensuring timely communication with transplant centers surgical teams and other stakeholders.Execute complex logistical support for all aspects of organ recovery and placement including coordination of transport surgical teams documentation and regulatory compliance.Participate in the development and execution of quality assurance programs and projects to ensure adherence to clinical standards regulatory requirements and organizational best practices.Use targeted assessment skills to assess transplant patients via telephone triage.At UW Health you will have:An excellent benefits package including health and dental insurance paid time off retirement plans two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
