About Outpatient ClinicsCorewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.Scope of WorkThe Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Generalist uses the tools theories skills and knowledge of the specialty to improve the healthcare practice of nursing and allied staff. The NPD Generalist uses expertise in education and professional development practices the NPD Generalist (NPD-G) functions in collaboration with staff leadership faculty and researchers to develop implement and evaluate professional development programs that influence professional role competence continuous learning and growth. Promote synergistic practices and patient outcomes throughout the organization and advances and leads NPD practice based on the Beaumont Health Nursing Professional Practice Model and in accordance with Association Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing Development Practice.QualificationsRequired Bachelors Degree in Nursing.Preferred Masters Degree3 years of relevant experience 3-5 years clinical experience. Requiredprevious teaching experience.
