Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.QualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following:Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)Diploma in NursingBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)LicensureMust hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employmentOr possess a compact license, per state board of nursing regulationsResponsible for ensuring compliance with all licensure requirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularlyProlonged periods of standing and walking during each shiftMust be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job dutiesCertificationsRequired:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire)May be required depending on unit/role:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)S.T.A.B.L.E.
