Visit learn more about our company clients and career opportunities.Job Description:The Road Supervisor will report to the General Manager and is responsible for actively facilitating communications between the field operations team to ensure the service is running efficiently.Duties and Responsibilities:Supervises day-to-day activities of operators to ensure compliance with operational requirements for safe bus operations including compliance with corporate safety training processes and practicesProvides support advice and guidance to operators in responding to a variety of issues (e.g. customer complaints bus and/or worker safety time-off requests) assessing situations and determining appropriate course of action (e.g. additional training counseling) to prevent further occurrences in the futureEnsures a positive work environment for operators by providing coaching mentoring and non-safety related training to promote high employee motivation and morale and commitment to company values and excellence in customer serviceMonitors on-time performance Prepares and submits required reports in a timely mannerSupervises compliance with Company policies and/or processes by action and speech; discusses any breech of policy and procedure noted with Operations Manager Collects and audits employee DVIsEvaluates the performance of all direct-report personnel on a regular basis according to company policy Administers appropriate employee discipline as necessarySkills Required and Physical Demands:Ability to multitask and pay extreme attention to detail.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and problem solve.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced excel skills.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAble to lift 25 pounds climb stairs and be on your feet for an extended period.Additional skills and physical demands may apply.Education and Qualifications:Hard requirements:Commercial Drivers License with Passenger EndorsementMust have open availability - flexible schedulePreferred requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Managementwith 3 years in transit industry preferred; college education can be substituted for up to 2 years required work experienceExperience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM)Knowledge of DMV policies and proceduresWe OfferPhysical HealthExceptional Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance benefitsFinancial HealthCompetitive compensation packages401(k) with 4% employer matchFinancial Wellness ToolCommuter BenefitsEmotional HealthEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)PTO for part-time and full-time positionsPaid holidaysPet & Legal InsurancePersonal DevelopmentOn-the-job training and skills developmentInternal transfer opportunities for career growth*Benefits vary by position and locationWeDriveU is an equal opportunity employer.
