Roof Service Technician at ROOFTECH, LLC
JOB DESCRIPTION
Employer Summary:
ROOFTECH, LLC is a young, local, commercial roofing company that installs and repairs low sloped roof systems within the Kentuckiana region. Our mission is to help our clients better understand their roofing system issues while also providing repair and re-roof solutions. We are certified installers of Duro-Last PVC, Johns Manville (TPO, PVC, & EPDM membranes), Carlisle (TPO & EPDM membranes), Versico (TPO & EPDM membranes), and IB PVC Roof Systems.
Employment Position:
We are looking for a roofer with experience in both the installation of roof membranes and roof repair work. The position we are looking to fill is primarily based around roof repair work (Service Technician) with minor job rolls in running materials and providing safety supervision on job sites. Most work is near or within town so expect to be home at the end of each workday.
Experience Needed:
Must have experience installing and/or repairing EPDM, TPO and PVC roof systems (some MOD bit experience will be a bonus)
Job Task:
Driving company vehicle to and from job sites
Monitoring roof installations and delivering materials when needed
Locating and repairing roof defects or damage
Measuring roof systems and performing core test
Job Requirements:
Must be able to heat weld thermal plastic systems (PVC or TPO Roof Systems)
Capable of telling the difference between a TPO and PVC roof
Lifting and safely setting a ladder
Comfortable working on elevated (low sloped) surfaces
Physically able to work outdoors
Capable of lifting 25LBS safely
Clear communicator who can explain roof issues and repairs needed
Have and capable in using smart phone
Must have a valid US driver's license
Permitted to work within the United States
Must be able to pass a drug test
Benefits & Salary Type:
Full time position starting at $18.00 an hour for first 60-day trial period. An evaluation will be performed at the end of 60 days with the possibility of an increased hourly rate or annual salary based on your performance and skill sets.
OSHA 10HR training provided
Benefits available after 60day trial
Two weeks paid vacation/or personal time provided after 1 full year of employment
