Route Lead at Loomis
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Route Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining a safe, secure and efficient operational environment which provides a high level of service to all customers. Ensure that all AST personnel are well trained, professional and proactive. This position will report directly to the Salem Operations Manager.
Specific Responsibilities:
The Route Lead will be responsible for:
- Generate routes in Plan Routes & daily cleaning of Plan Routes
- Enter and review routing data and ensure accurate and efficient routing solutions
- Oversee assigned routes to ensure maintenance of route sequencing, custodian rotations and truck cleanliness and maintenance.
- Learn and operate SPRING, work with PDX turret on open SPRING Tickets and make sure the turret is closing SPRING Tickets as needed
- Allocate regular scheduled service requests.
- Review all Short Premise times with crews to ensure services are rendered properly.
- Review Canceled Stop codes with route crews to validate cancelation reasons.
- Ensure all routes are optimized and sequences efficiently.
- Track Daily VCR to ensure completion of all assigned trucks utilized and following up with drivers that failed to turn in or properly complete the VCR
- Responsible for training, counseling, conduct and evaluation of driver/guard employees under their direction on a daily basis.
- Provide leadership by example - modeling appropriate behaviors and regular observation/monitoring of route activities and crew needs.
- Communicate with all employees to immediately resolve any outstanding issues and/or complaints.
- Create weekly route schedule and submit for approval
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintenance of safety and security policies published and distributed by Corporate, Region, Area and Branch
- Thorough and accurate paperwork
- Meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible hours
- Must be Driver Aware instructor certified (or ability/willingness to be trained)
