Job Description SummaryThe Production Supervision will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. You will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. You will make decisions apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities Direct the work activities of hourly skilled trade employees in the maintenance troubleshooting and repair aircraft enginesFacilitate the hourly workforce by setting clear expectations on production output EHS compliance and quality workmanshipResponsible for daily workforce job allocations and shift support coordinationDevelop project specific scopes of work schedule and manage larger office complex maintenance and repair projectsDevelop and maintain a positive and respectful work climate with all employeesAssure compliance with all methods to ensure top quality productResponsible for the implementation and participation of all management initiativeDevelop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizationsSpecifies needs communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research doneWorks on cross functional teamsBasic QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations/Production Supervisor)A minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing or Operations/Production Supervision Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to influence others and lead small teamsAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityTechnical troubleshooting skillsExperience in Lean Six Sigma FundamentalsHumble: respectful receptive agile eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information speaks with candor contributesconstructivelyFocused: quick learner strategically prioritizes work committed Leadership ability: strong communicator decision-maker collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded challenges existing processes critical thinkerThe base pay range for this position is$101000-$120000.
