Rutland Town School Kindergarten Paraeducator at Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union

Kindergarten Paraeducator - Rutland Town School is seeking a kindergarten classroom paraeducator. The classroom paraeducator is involved in supporting students and classroom teachers within the regular school setting. The Kindergarten paraeducator will perform a variety of supportive activities with a diverse student population. Work with individual/small/large groups of students Support classroom teachers in curriculum development activity modification and other clerical duties as assigned Assist students with work completion within the classroom Assist with general classroom behavior management procedures and communicate with classroom teachers and other team members Attend team meetings as requested Assist with supervision of students during emergency drills assemblies and field trips as needed Report all student safety issues to the classroom teacher As needed fill in as a classroom teacher or other staff roles including pre-kindergarten teachers or staff (Pre-K training documentation fingerprints and background check required) Other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or administrator Key Skills Experience Working With Students,Early Childhood Education,Time Management,Organizational skills,Classroom Management,Behavior Management,Classroom Experience,Lesson Planning,Preschool Experience,Teaching,Cordova,Word Processing Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
