Growing together.We are looking to expand our Cardiology services by adding a motivated Cardiologist looking to make a difference in our community. Our Cardiology mission is to provide evidence-based cardiology care in a value-based setting.  We offer both full-time and flexible schedules to find the right talent for the right opportunity. Primary Responsibilities:Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concernsInitiating tests, treatments, and when necessary, referring for proceduresMaintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, test results and treatment plansPerforming tests, when needed, to check the health of patients’ hearts and/or cardiovascular systemsInterpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioningUsing medical imaging equipment, such as CT and MRI scanners, to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditionsAssisting and/or performing surgery which may include complex surgical interventions that require a team of medical professionalsPrescribing medication to treat heart and other cardiovascular diseaseProviding support and advice to patients and families receiving long-term careTraining and providing educational support to junior staff and colleaguesMon- Fri, 100% outpatient with no hospital rounding or callWe offer an attractive base salary, sign on bonus, bonus plan, and comprehensive fringe benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, STD/LTD, professional liability, matching 401K, relocation costs, three weeks paid vacation, one-week paid CME allowance, and eight paid holidays.You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:M.D. or D.O.Completed a Cardiology Fellowship programMedical Licensure in the State of New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to employmentBoard certified or board eligible in specialtyDEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment Compensation & Benefits Highlights:Med/Den/Vis, STD, LTD, United Health stock optionsContinuing Medical Education allowance with time offRobust Relocation program   Professional Liability InsuranceExcellent PTO packageGenerous retirement program including employer funded contributions (401K) Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $367,500 to $700,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
