JOB DESCRIPTION

Salesforce, a leading AI CRM provider, is seeking a Sales Leader to manage and grow a team of Account Executives within the Customer 360 product family for the Federal Department of War segment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Account Executives, including recruiting, hiring, and training.
  • Participate and lead client and prospect meetings and work cross‑functionally with internal partners.
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
  • Set and implement the Salesforce go‑to‑market strategy for the Customer 360 product family.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop in their careers.
  • Accurately report sales activity and forecasting to senior management.
  • Lead demand generation activities and develop successful sales campaigns.
  • Engage at the C‑level in enterprise customer organizations.
  • Lead significant client concerns and issues.
  • Work cross‑functionally with internal partners to ensure consistent processes.
  • Develop corporate relationships and executive engagement supporting success.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • 10+ years in software and/or application sales, ideally IT‑centric solutions, selling primarily to the CxO level.
  • Recent experience with the Enterprise customer segment.
  • Experience selling to customers in the Public Sector, ideally Federal/Department of War.
  • Strong track record of leading complex top‑account teams within a high‑growth, matrixed environment, consistently over‑achieving quota and revenue goals.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining a high‑performing sales organization.
  • Strong cross‑functional partnership skills to drive collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

Base salary range: $208,150–$278,450 annually (excluding bonuses and equity). In California and New York, and select cities of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington D.C., the range is $229,000–$306,250 per year.
