This hands-on opportunity provides real-world experience in robotic programming process optimization and industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Robotics Programming & Troubleshooting: Shadow robotics programmers to learn how to create test and optimize robotic programs using simulation software.Process Analysis & Improvement: Conduct time studies process mapping and layout assessments to enhance fabrication and robotic operations.Safety & Quality Enhancements: Identify and implement tools and strategies to improve workplace safety and product quality.Standard Work Instructions (SWI): Assist in updating SWI documentation to reflect process improvements.Software Proficiency: Gain experience in 2D/3D modeling software (AutoCAD Creo Parametric SolidWorks etc.) and utilize Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting.Desired Qualifications:Self-motivated detail-oriented and eager to learn.Logical problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and mathematical abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Basic understanding of robotics welding and industrial automation.Interest in robotics programming automation or a related engineering fieldpreferably planning to attend college trade school or enter the workforce in a robotics or automation role.Other skillsets:Mathematical & analytical skillsProcess analysis & improvementProblem-solving & critical thinkingTeamwork & communicationTime management & organizationComputer SkillsThis position offers a valuable introduction to robotic programming automation technology and process optimization in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
