If you have a passion for service and a dedication to continuous growth we want you to be part of our team.Party Hosts/Floor AttendantsThe St. James is seeking Party Hosts/Floor Attendantsfor its Super Awesome and Amazing center at The St. James flagship location in Springfield Virginia.The St. James is the premier sports wellness and active entertainment destination brand in the country with a mission to maximize human potential by designing developing and operating sports wellness and entertainment destinations that engage inspire and empower people to pursue their passions and be their best at play at work and in life. Our flagship development in Springfield Virginia features a 20000 sq. ft. active entertainment center that includes a Ninja warrior course trampolines e-gaming centers virtual reality and birthday party rooms.As Floor Attendantsyou will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service while ensuring our guests have the most entertaining experience possible. Additionally you will serve as an area monitor by working directly with guests to provide courteous friendly and professional assistance / education while enforcing safety regulations. You are the primary person responsible for the safety of everyone at our Active Entertainment Center. This position will report directly to the Manager of the Super Awesome and Amazing at The St. James.WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:You LOVE having fun!You take safety seriouslyYou take gratification in making guests happyYou take pride in being a part of a teamYou seek opportunities to grow with a teamYou perform at your best cause thats the only way you know how and you can make it look easyKey Responsibilities:Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies practices and proceduresProvide extraordinary customer service consistent with The St. Jamess brand standardsGreet our guest ENTHUSIASTICALLYExplain the Active Entertainment Center floor and patron policiesHandle and enforce waiver policiesPerform all other related duties as assignedSupport the safety of all members guests and employees.Qualifications:Must be 16 years of age or olderAbility to provide excellent guest service in person and over the phoneAvailability nights weekends and holidaysMust be able to interact and communicate clearly and effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to speak in front of groupsAbility to project voice and be heard in a loud environmentAbility to inform guests of rulesAbility to handle moneyAbility to handle and resolve recurring problemsDemonstrated multi-tasker with a commitment to superior guest service.Ability to work a very flexible schedule that will include late nights early mornings weekends and holidays.Ability to work with minimal supervision requiredKnowledgeable of safety training procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry.Get to know us better: job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
