With a focus on reliability driver experience and cutting-edge technology Oshkosh Delivery empowers fleets and businesses to move goods smarter safer and with confidence today and for the road ahead.JOB SUMMARYImplement and manage safety programs and procedures that will reduce injuries and their associated costs as well as meet all applicable local state and federal regulations.*3rd Shift is 8:30pm to 5:30am (SundayThursday) - Training will be on 1st Shift (6am-4:00pm M-F)YOUR IMPACTConduct safety audits of facilities to pinpoint unsafe working conditions behaviors and practices and develop sound recommendations for correctionsInvestigate and facilitate the completion of injury reports and follow-up to ensure corrective action is takenMaintain all required documentation for Oshkosh Corporations DOT programCoordinate industrial hygiene testing and implement corrective action if requiredOversee safety-related training that is required to remain in compliance with all applicable regulationsUpdate management on the status of Oshkoshs safety program through monthly and quarterly reportsSupport and strengthen the Companys ergonomics programOrganize plan and steer the plant Safety Committee to ensure that Oshkosh employees are provided with a safe workplaceWork closely with our Health & Wellness Lead on workers compensation concernsCoordinate with manufacturing engineering etc. on the design and construction of new equipment facilities and processes to ensure safe designDevelop and recommend general accident prevention programs to include specific protective procedures and devicesComplete and verify hot work permits within the facilityReview and address open continuous improvement suggestions from the teamConduct safety specific training such as lockout tagout CPR BBP etcUpdate Job Hazard AnalysisMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Safety or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experienceInternship experienceStrong interpersonal skills for collaboration with various teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONSWork experience in industryMust be knowledgeable of OSHA safety standards and regulations.Must possess excellent communication and organizational skillsMust possess computer skillsOSHA 30 training a plusCertifications in first aid and CPR a plusPay Range:$50400.00 - $77200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
