We take pride in maintaining a culture where every employee is empowered to prioritize safety and excellence in everything we do.Position OverviewThe Safety Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting and advancing Cobalt Civils safety culture. This position ensures compliance with federal state and local safety regulations provides training and guidance to project teams and promotes proactive safety initiatives across all job sites.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor company safety programs policies and procedures on active job sites.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Coordinate safety meetings toolbox talks and training sessions for field personnel.Assist in the investigation of incidents accidents and near misses; maintain proper documentation and follow-up.Ensure compliance with OSHA DOT and other regulatory standards.Support project management teams in developing site-specific safety plans.Maintain safety records reports and documentation as required.Promote and reinforce Cobalt Civils Safety-First culture through communication and leadership.Qualifications24 years of experience in construction safety preferably in heavy civil utility or infrastructure projects.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required).First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).Knowledge of OSHA standards hazard recognition and regulatory compliance.Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in the field and office.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.Why Join Cobalt CivilCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on company safety culture and operations.Collaborative supportive work environment committed to professional growth and safety excellence.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Business Development,Anti Money Laundering,Jdbc,Cement,Administration Support,Analytics Employment Type : Full Time Department / Functional Area: Operations Experience: years Vacancy: 1
