The Intern will have the opportunity to support various functions within HSE with a focus on industrial safety.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:General HSE activities:Program creationIncident investigationChemical safetyProgram integrationOSHA researchAudit executionABOUT YOU:Experience:Previous experience not necessaryCompleted second year of college towards B.S. Degree in AccountingSkills:Ability to work independently or as part of a teamSelf-starterExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills requiredAbility to manage multiple tasksEffective communication skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to sit stand bend stoop reach ascend or descend stairs and walk for extended periods of time in an office or manufacturing setting or outdoors including areas where conditions may include odors varying temperatures humidity and moderate levels of noise.Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the facility and or jobThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to safety use power hoist pallet transport trucks powered forklifts and banding machines and or company vehicles.Close vision and hand eye coordination required to efficiently and safely perform job.Expected Compensation: $20.00-23.00/hour.
