ResponsibilitiesSafety ManagerAs a Safety Manager you will play a key role in leading and reinforcing a culture where safety is not just a priority but a core value. You will ensure best practices are followed compliance standards are met and every team member goes home safe at the end of each day.HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on commercial construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring OSHA compliance implementing effective safety programs and partnering with project teams to maintain a strong safety culture on-site.Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA complianceLead and conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talksComplete incident reports and lead accident investigationsPerform daily safety audits and inspectionsOversee subcontractors and contractors to ensure adherence to safety standardsManage and enforce safety programs related to Fall Protection Scaffolding Steel Erection and ExcavationQualificationsMinimum of 7 years of direct construction safety experience requiredDegree in a safety-related field preferredOSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 a plusCHST or CSP certification preferredAdvanced knowledge of construction safety standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office productsWillingness to travel within a 50-mile radius as necessaryOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service objective safety partner founded in 1997.
