Job Title: Safety Coordinator Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company Duration: 1 Year (possible extension) Location: Milan IL 61264 Shift: 3rd Shift 11:00 PM 7:30 AM 2st Shift 2:30 PM 11:00PM Summary Entry-level safety role supporting warehouse and manufacturing environments. Responsible for hazard identification safety compliance incident investigations training and maintaining regulatory documentation. Approximately half of each shift will be spent on the warehouse floor. Key Responsibilities Identify and correct potential safety hazards to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses Support supervisors and employees in maintaining safe work practices Assist in developing and improving safety programs and processes Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards Perform incident investigations ergonomic assessments and root-cause reviews Collect analyze and maintain safety data reports and documentation Manage OSHA-required recordkeeping and internal safety reporting Participate in risk assessments and corrective/preventive action tracking Review new equipment processes and facilities for safety compliance Develop and deliver safety presentations and training sessions Communicate safety expectations and respond to safety-related inquiries Required Skills Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments with a safety focus Ability to develop and deliver safety training Safety-related degree or strong manufacturing safety background Proficiency in MS Office CSP accreditation preferred Must have metatarsal safety boots on Day 1 (non-reimbursable) Preferred / Standout Qualifications Occupational safety experience OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification Additional OSHA training credentials #ZR Key Skills Customer,Human Resources Administration,Infrastructure,JQuery,Import Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
