Responsibilities:Coordinates in-person sales and curbside pick-up orders with local customersAssists customers in person over the phone via email and through online chatEnters customer orders and processes paymentsWorks with Store management to fill and ship online ordersAssists in stocking the sales floor and with stockroom maintenanceAssists in maintaining cleanliness of storeAssists with physical inventory count Minimum Requirements:High school graduateRetail store and POS experience preferably in a college bookstore or specialty store with a variety of merchandise typesStrong verbal communication skillsReliable professional and highly motivated individual willing to play a role within a team focused environmentPreferred Background:Flare for creative product presentation and overall awareness of trends in market placeStrong interest in the performing arts especially in the New York City areaCollege degree in Music Music Performance or related field Salary:$16.00 per hour.
