We are seeking a Sales Lawyer with a strong background in business, corporate, technology or AI to join our team in the Tech Startup world. Responsibilities:
- Connect with other attorneys in the industry, helping to structure deals, identify risks, and propose creative solutions.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments in the tech industry, including laws and regulations related to AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including product, engineering, and finance, to ensure that sales meet the company's business goals.
- Develop and implement legal training programs for the sales and business development teams.
- Assist in the development and refinement of the company's sales policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 1+ year of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on business/corporate/technology transactions.
- Membership in good standing with a state bar.
- Deep understanding of the tech industry, including knowledge of AI, software licensing, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
